But even in the rare cases where I might find it difficult to choose, I have a very handy choicemaking-tool I developed in my teens and works like a charm! With e-ve-ry-thing I might add! I discuss it somewhere in my inspirationseries, you'll come across it this year. That being said, you've done some nice things, I really like the bolsters (nice colours too!). And it's crazy right, I've wondered about that too when I saw those curainrods online, that you would need sufficient space to be able to slide them out..
The 'soot' gives the fireplace a lot more realism, I like it! As I do all the other things you've done, maybe tiny, but all add to the overall results right? And what a lovely piece you got from your niece, so sweet! It looks very nice in that corner in the attic of the house as do the lovely flowers and painting!Fabulously Smallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02900803753608126554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249478764637750851.post-1364454050867490462016-01-14T09:58:50.669-05:002016-01-14T09:58:50.669-05:00Picky, indeed! I'm particularly glad the tower on the cloud palace is finally getting an outside layer - didn't seem right to have it all exposed to the elements like a bomb site.
Lovely, lovely work -
xox MomHarriethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08607850290415958747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249478764637750851.post-38139825743495289432016-01-13T06:06:23.244-05:002016-01-13T06:06:23.244-05:00bien beau projetbien beau projetclaudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06102056989840300273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249478764637750851.post-40017063417550185502016-01-07T04:34:28.682-05:002016-01-07T04:34:28.682-05:00Bonjour Betsy,

And I can assure you that visiting your blog is NEVER boring, dear friend ;). Your talent for painting the most gorgeous murals is endless, I love all of the flowers you've created on the walls. I bet it will be more beautiful to see when one can see it with daylight. This time of year is so dark, at least it's here too :(.
I wish I also could lie down in the nook on the soft bolsters, but I guess your nook will be a bit crowded, because it's already "filled up" by Giac :D hahaha!
The bolsters are wonderfully made and yes: we all know they're there ;)!
Wishing you a good and healthy 2016, dear Betsy!
Hugs, IlonaIlonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01325745983964748534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249478764637750851.post-90388903492065198932016-01-06T13:39:14.875-05:002016-01-06T13:39:14.875-05:00First of all: great gifts! The bolsters are pretty and they look very good in this cozy Nook - wish I could hid there with a book and cup of anything to drink. :) When I read you re-stiched one of bolsters 3 times I thought "nothing new to me, lol". As usual I admire all your paintings both flowers and the walls look superb. :)
HugsThe Old Maidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06702109878437377286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249478764637750851.post-23423438236338435892016-01-06T11:50:23.359-05:002016-01-06T11:50:23.359-05:00I can truly see talent runs in your family... what...I can truly see talent runs in your family... what a beautiful gift from your niece. And you picked the challenge to pick up many of your lose ends and face all those picky details... *teehee* You have been so busy... I always admire your patience and how you keep your focus on every detail... always worshiping the Betsy-rule: Maybe it won't be visible at all but I'll know it's there! The windows in the Willowcrest are wonderful. The sills really make a big difference and the fireplace is just beautiful! I love it!. Your painting just keeps on getting better, but out of all you showed us, the magnificent bad is my favorite. It is so beautiful and the pillows make it look so welcoming and warm. It is just fantastic. How I could lay there and get lost in my dreams. Wonderful work Betsy! Enjoy your lovely new desk. It is a great piece.
Big hug
GiacGiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04823654482564548862noreply@blogger.com
