So Little Time.....

So Much To Do....

Once Again, Dear Readers, the Same Old Tree has been put up in the living room of The Lovely Old Dollhouse. It seems such a short Time ago that I promised I would show you the ornaments up close and in good light! But I fear I shall have to postpone that promise for another day. It is dark and the lighting is poor.... and the Tree has already been put up!

And Helen and Charles are enjoying the
 beautiful lights and shiny ornaments.
It seems that no matter how many years go by,
every year the thrill is the same,
that burst of Joy when the little lights go on!
I will never grow tired of seeing the little Tree!

And over in The Shabby Sister House,
Chip has put up the same silver tree....
Sally May Loves it, but Chip thinks it needs
 a little something this year....

His Father agrees....
but they have no idea what is needed!

Meanwhile over at The Cloud Palace,
Blue has lit the Same Silver Tinsel Tree...

And all the Fairy Bears have gathered around to admire it!

It looks just Perfect!

I Wish I had more to show, Dear Readers,
but I spent the weekend rushing around
to get ready for my Sister to visit
and then traveling to her Grandchildren with gifts.
There is just so Little Time
and so Much to be done...
And I haven't even started the Christmas Card!

  1. All the trees make the houses in Betsy's World so festive! The wonderful thing about Betsy's World? She can make it Christmas any time and for as long as she wants. Running out of time has been outlawed!
As for this year's Christmas Card? How about just painting a picture of yourself partially buried under the sands of time in an hour glass with the caption "The 2019 Christmas Card has been delayed due to unpredictable rate increase of the speed of time!".
I hope time really does slow down and that you are able to enjoy family and all of the wonderful things the Christmas season brings to you!

  2. I love Jodi's idea for this year's "Christmas" card. Just don't let's have it be the first year with none. Even if it's a Valentine!
Your little Christmas trees are lovely. I'm sure your big ones will be too.
    Much love, Mom

  3. Well I did comment, but blogger didn't seem to want to publish. I just wanted to second Jodi's comment about a simple Christmas card this year - I'm reminded of the one you made when you were busy incubating Alex. I love the little trees in your little houses...
    Much love

  4. Your mini Christmas trees are, as every year with Christmas, beautifully decorated, Betsy, and those lights give us a cosy and good look of your mini people in their mini houses in your mini world.
Take your time for the famous Christmas Card, Betsy, I always love to see your work, so take your time!!
    Hugs, Ilona

  5. Christmas trees ALWAYS make the season feel Merry and Bright no matter if the trees be BIG or Mini: the JOY is there with both! ❤️

  6. Didn't you make extra leaves to put on the cards? Maybe the leaves could BE the cards this year

  7. Your tiny Christmas trees are wonderful. I think a Christmas tree with all the lights on brings out the child in us lol.

  8. Hi, Betsy - I always love seeing the beautiful and varied mini trees that you put up. It's been a long time since I've decorated a miniature house for Christmas. You inspire and motivate me to get it done!

  9. You may be very busy and running out of time with so many things to do... but you managed perfectly to bring a festive mood and Christmas joy to us with this wonderful post. I so enjoyed seeing those familiar trees again and in all splendor... and (surprise) especially the gang up there in the clouds enjoying this time of the year and admiring their beautiful silver tree. Like your little folks I'm also the traditional type about decorating my Christmas tree - I'm not going with fashion, it has to be the same old baubles every year… Well, and a fancy new one every now and then… ;O)

I'm wishing you a great time with the family - and don't worry about the card. Christmas time is about traditions - why should you break with your tradition of not being finished with it by Christmas. *teehee* Whenever it's done all receiver's will enjoy it as they do in every year. As your Mom said - it will still be stunning around Valentine's Day. ;O) But I'm a little worried now - I really hope you'll find the time to go to your local post office soon… *gulp*

    Hugs
    Birgit
