Filling The Sky....

I  Hope.....

You will Understand, Dear Readers, that this will be a short post. Just a glimpse of the Sky being filled with stars.... spreading the message of Hope Eternal.... for Peace on Earth and Good Will Toward Mankind. Tonight is Epiphany... The Magi arrive and give their Gifts to the Baby. How much we need to hold Faith now! I have Hope that our institutions are strong and will withstand the turmoil of the next few weeks. Meanwhile, I will keep adding to this Sky... one stitch at a time. And I will complete the Christmas Card drawing... almost done (but so difficult to concentrate just now...!) I have Hope that it will be done by this weekend. Soon it will be traveling to my Family near and far.

I Hope, Dear Readers, that you are all well

and that you can see the Stars from where you are.

We will make it through these challenging Times!

I Hope.

  1. So lovely. Art is the answer to our woes.
All is peaceful in our little town, a few protesters at their usual corner, but no guns or weird costumes.
    Much love,
    Mom

  7. Hi Betsy. I love the blue sky that you are filling in.

And to make a jump from the nightsky to thevevents you allude to; the darkest hour is always the one before dawn. I have good hope that we have just witnessed that hour.

  9. That's a very good way to get along with all of this... stitching a blue sky... stitch by stich... and creating beauty. It was a big shock and we too were stuck in front of our tv sets - now I have something more to add to my "I never expected not even in my worst dreams something like this could ever happen"-list. Keep on hoping! And I really hope you've finished your Christmas card by now... it's one of my hopes that we will see it soon! ;O)

    Hugs
    Birgit
